I believe I would be an effective tutor for many subjects at the elementary, middle and basic high school level, whether one to one or in small groups. My greatest skill level is in cooking and food service, having been a career chef, restaurant owner and Executive Chef locally at Fort Worden. I could envision making myself available for questions and advice on a regular walk-in basis or develop some basic skills tutoring. I would be happy to help with student fundraising efforts that involve food. In general I am willing to help in just about any context if called upon.

i have been an avid supporter of organic and sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry since my earliest days as a restauranteur in the 80's.
My restaurant ownership experience primarily encompassed the role of General Manager and Executive chef but I was closely involved with all aspects of the business, both front and bake of the house, on a daily basis.

i was the Owner/Chef of Union Bay Cafe in Seattle for 21 years. After that I worked in Contract Foodservice as and Executive Chef and General Manager where I was involved in the initial set-up and training for many corporate, non-profit and educational accounts.
