Briefly describe the program, volunteer work, or partnerships you or your organization may offer.
I am a independent yoga & art instructor for all ages as well as the Executive Director of the Jefferson Teen Center in Chimacum (a non-profit, after school program for middle and high school students).
The JTC offers a safe place for youth after school, with occasional events, providing opportunities in the arts & crafts, music, technology, games, tutoring, and more.
I am interested in help youth learn about self empowerment, wellness techniques to improve health and stress as well as creative lessons in art and music to unlock their highest potential.
I have over 15 years experience working with youth ages 8 - 18 in a variety of areas.
I have a BFA in Painting - professional artist, including exhibits, art show weekend booths, grant writing and more. I have been learning and playing music since 1995 in the areas of singing, guitar, ukulele, violin, mandolin, and more. I also have experience in theater and performing arts as a youth into college. I have experience as a cheerleader in high school and 4 hrs in college.
I have been teaching art & yoga for over 15 years in public & private organizations, after school and many library workshops. I have experience working as a substitute teacher for 4 years at a variety of school districts in MN.
RYT500 Certified and have liability insurance.
