Our activity is volunteering for the Chamber!! We are recruiting volunteers all the time. There is an application and interview process for this activity and we would enjoy hearing from anyone interested in learning more. Please email me at info@jeffcountychamber.org and we will happily send you an application, or drop by the Chamber Visitor Information Center (VIC) at 2409 Jefferson Street in Port Townsend between 9-5 during the work week to pick up an application! Our volunteers generally sign up for a two hour time slot weekly, or twice monthly. The VIC is open 9-5 during the week and 10-4 on weekends. Training is provided for all new volunteers. During the slow months there are sometimes opportunities to explore the materials we have in the VIC and learn more about our amazing County...or work on homework...or read a book between visitors, and during the busy months there is often a line of people coming in the door looking for information about things to do and places to go while they are here and you are talking and answering questions for two hours and the time flies by!
